I hated having to do crosswords and word searches in school I was never good at them

I don’t mind crosswords but word searches were the bane of my existence.

For whatever reason my brain can’t decipher words in word searches that easily and I’ll read letter by letter and not recognize that it’s a word.

Yeah me too, my bitter side says it's because they represent a particular language culture/demographic (that can skew wealthy white, male, east coast American) so many times I just don't get the clue. I might also just be dumb but my ego likes the blame rich white men theory.
