I listened to the podcast a while back and I recommend it. He was given so many free passes and it says a lot about the priviledge of a decent looking white man in the US if you think of it...

What he did to his friend is just awful in so many different ways. Obviously everything he did was terrible, but to permanently leave your friend paralyzed takes the cake.

I don’t normally listen to true crime podcasts but this one had more of a journalistic bent than most. It was fascinating, but also enraging to hear how so many people just did nothing while this monster wreaked havoc with people’s lives. How on earth do they live with themselves.
