If I recall, there was a rumor (stories on Entertainment Tonight) that there was going to be a Thanksgiving special where they characters were having Thanksgiving dinner together like a year after the final episode.

Say what you want about the content of friends, but (to me) they changed the tv dynamic world.
1) they all unionized and negotiated together assuring that they’re all giant stars
2) their offscreen friendships seem to be genuine & what people want to see in any ensemble from now on.
3) going off of 2, they have never trashed one another and no scandal has ever come out. that in itself is huge.

The friendship between Courtenay, Jennifer and Lisa is just amazing. These women have been best friends for 30 years and just seem to adore each other.

There’s stories from the original run of them trying to get a cast member alone to negotiate and then they’d all just walk off set.

Honestly all three women have spoken about the intense pressures they’ve faced. Look at what Courtenay went through with plastic surgery. Thankfully she had most of it disovled and is still stunning.
