Leakers who’ve got other things right (like JLD being the secret guest star in FatWS) have said he is so I’m going with them. Though tbh as long as the Raimi-verse is I’m happy.
ONTD, do you think Andrew Garfield is in Spiderman NWH?
Probably, but I remain skeptical of these recent scoopers. Pretty much all of them got their start in 2019, and because they only leak stuff while it's in production or earlier, their accuracy wasn't tested until this year. And literally all of them claimed that some element or character would be in one of these D+ shows that did not fucking happen. Forget Mephisto. Where was Blue Marvel? Where was Hulkling? Where was Zola? Where was Nightmare? What about the alleged pandemic plotline that Charles Murphy said was cut from F&TWS but oops, never actually existed? Those are just off the top of my head. People decided these guys were accurate (including DanielRPK, who could not be more obvious about the fact that he is scamming people) without even seeing the projects they were "scooping."
No, the showrunner said that a storyline was cut, but that it had nothing to do with a pandemic. Also, if you go back to the original post (from early 2020), it says, as evidence, that there were a bunch of reddit/4chan leaks that mentioned a pandemic, but all of those old leaks were completely wrong.
I would laugh if a side plot is they are making a Spider-Man movie, and the guys who played Spider-Man in the previous movies were just actors auditioning and Tom Holland says something quippy like “who’s gonna believe these old guys are teenagers”.
