I thought they were cool, if strange (Hey, you want to sell someone a 2k bike? Be my guest) but the callousness of multiple children being hurt and one dying...that CEO has issues.
A video of a child getting in a peloton accident popped up in my YT recommendations, luckily he seems to be ok at the end and without injuries, but it seems TERRIFYING and def. could've ended up being something much worse. The poor kid seems so scared...
OMGGGG the video just kept getting worse! Thank god that kid was okay. This just goes to show you that no matter what children should be supervised around workout equipment.
My mum's friend's daughter works for them as a product manager (I've always hated her, she's such a pretentious bitch). Apparently the company is so nice to the employees they allowed her to work remote from Hawaii where her bf has a family home. Meanwhile I'm a disappointment as I haven't worked in a year lol
They probably didn't think of small children at all when making it or assumed people wouldn't let children play on it. With any sort of design in a home children and animals need to be taken into consideration and it just seems like that consideration wasn't there at all.
Someone just wasn't thinking about all possible safety issues in all households.
I still have an original Malm dresser from IKEA, which was recalled because several children died because of the shitty design that makes it easily tip forward if more than one drawer is open.

A child died! That’s absolutely terrible! This company is so sketchy to me.
