yep. there's the trauma of being on the receiving end but i was the "good kid" and watching what my brother got was honestly so much worse. i feel an enormous amount of guilt over not being able to protect him. and he did not turn out so well.

Mte. Also this is why i'll never have kids. A crying kid drives me nuts and while i say i'd never hit a kid i don't trust myself when a kid has been crying for hours. So i'd rather not get into that territory.

I mean I'll see other people's kids sometimes and go "oh cute" but then they leave and I don't have to deal with them. This is why I have pets instead. I tend to like my dogs more than people anyway.

I am no longer, but I stay for longer then I was comfortable with becuase I just loved her kids so much and felt so sorry for them.
