i absolutely loved their first 2 albums and then hated their 3rd one. i don't like this either. i feel like their sound walks such a fine line where it can either be sublime or annoying. they were also posting some annoying stuff on social media recently and i'm just like... ehhh i think i'm out.

I also loved the 3rd album! I think they released 2 duds (miracle/my enemy) as singles so people wrote it off before it even came out.

I actually like both of those songs lmao BUT I do think that especially "My Enemy" is a weird single choice, and I say this as an utter Matt Berninger/The National stan.
