I signed up for a week trial of Shudder so I could watch The Banishing (woooo my bb Sean Harris ❤), so I'll probably watch nothing but stuff on there until it runs out, lol. Gotta get my non-money's worth.

OP, this is always one of my fav posts on ONTD. It inspired me to pick up the slack and watch some of the Oscar movies. I usually would have seen them all in the cinema by now.

I'm going to watch Sound of Metal, Another Round, Promising Young Woman and Babyteeth this weekend. I'm also going to VOD Monday on Apple TV.

Lately I watched Triple Frontier on Netflix. It was okay, it definitely ran out of steam towards the end. I also watched The Sisters Brothers and really enjoyed that. I remember it had a botched release and didn't find it's audiences. The cast and performances were excellent. I also watched Monster Squad on Prime which is Stranger Things meets Stand By Me. It's also one of Shane Black's earliest films - he wrote it six months before the first Lethal Weapon. I would highly recommend.

And omg, I loved The Sisters Brothers. It's a shame they fucked up releasing it, because it was funny and beautifully shot and well-written. I should watch it again!!

Those are the movies I'll try to watch. Monday because TFATWS is making me thirsty for Sebastian Stan and I love Dominique Tipper on The Expanse, and We Broke Up sounds fun.

so the new spongebob movie sponge on the run is fucking awful. i would say i'm disappointed but i guess it was to be expected. the way they retconned how the characters met so they could have this new series about the characters knowing each other at camp is lame as all hell. it felt like a feature length commercial for the series. would. not. recommend.

that jakob's wife trailer is disgusting. i SCREAMED! i thought i was good with body horror but i guess i have my limits. and the limit is close up shots of gross holes in skin.
