That is a whole lot of Caucasian (minus Rami).

I think for Leo, that was one of the cases where the Academy was awarding a career, not a specific performance. They knew he was due. “The Revenant” was definitely a one time view for me. I think he should have won for “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Totally agreed-I recommend it based on the quaaludes scene alone.

The quaaludes scene had me belly laughing in the theater, I don’t like Leo but that was a genuinely hilarious performance

he should've won ages ago for gilbert grape and you're def right about it being a career award - which is dumb as fuck when he was just like 40 when he won it lmao

lol this is so bad D:

The only one I kinda see deserving it is Joaquin but not for that movie. And DDL, I guess...

But the whole list, as it is, is pretty awful.

Joaquin would have been more deserving for You Were Never Really Here over Joker. Or even Walk the Line, I always thought he was much better than Reese.

Yeah, I definitely think he should have won it for Walk the Line. He was fantastic in that! <3

The supporting actor category is always way better, for some reason.

I've seen all these movies and the only one I really find memorable at all is The Revenant. And I guess Joker, altho not for entirely good reasons.

My resentment towards The Artist has really blossomed over the years. And JDJ has done like next to nothing since?? Ugh.

It's wild how that movie disappeared off the face of the earth after it won best picture.

the only thing i remember about it was that it's black and white?

as a silent film fan i cannot stand it and i'm not surprised it didn't lead to anything honestly.
