I remember when they tried really hard to make Tori Kelly happen. I remember one year Nick Jonas did performed at the VMAs preshow when Jealous was huge and she got to be during the main show and I thought there was funky with that and then I found out Scooter was her manager and all the super high profile stuff made more sense.
