It's honestly such a great time to be an out of work famous actor in Australia. Literally every Marvel movie for the next 5 years (and most other movies/TV it seems) is being filmed there, so I feel like there's going to be a lot of formerly famous people like Russell Crowe, Rachel Griffiths, Eric Bana etc getting roles like this. The pandemic has been kind to the Australian film industry.

I'm a fan of Taika Waititi (What We Do In the Shadows is a masterpiece, bye!) but Ragnarok was hella annoying in retrospect.

I have such mixed feelings about Thor Ragnarok. There were some things I really liked, but the constant undercutting of serious moments by a joke immediately afterward was so tiresome.

And this movie just seems like it's going to be even stupider.

I really hated how thor's depressed became the butt of the joke and even fans called him "fat thor." it really proved the avengers are shitty friends tbh.
