WeWork is so fascinating to me because unlike Theranos, their base concept was feasible and made sense. Co-working spaces are honestly rather boring and not all that "revolutionary" and then they just piled on this idiotic language and toxic startup culture because it's not enough to be a normal company.
The vanity of these tech bros is such that any good idea they have is eventually cancelled out or completely undermined by their sociopathic control freak god-complex Ayn Rand-worshipping egoistic impulses. Every. Single. One. Of. Them. There are no exceptions.
Note: I use "tech bros" as shorthand for any of these grifters, who've used venture capital and then the stock market, to jump from good idea to overweening overwhelming stupidity and self-enrichment. So Elizabeth Holmes and this guy, are "tech bros" even though their work was in medical equipment and real estate, respectively.
