on the one hand this makes me feel like a wrinkled old soul. on the other hand, I love living in an age with such phenomenal advancement in tech in a time span that's not even my whole lifetime! like going from the Kitty Hawk to the space in less than a lifetime. we're on our way to "yOu WoUlDn'T dOwNlOaD a CaR" to "watch me 3D print a car that drives itself."

I was walking through Target today and saw a whole section for Tracfone minutes. Do people still buy that stuff? I had no idea.

Also if you’re the OP of the Frankie Jonas thread, you closed it for comments.

Yes. I used tracfone for my old iPhone for three years. I think they use the same towers as Verizon or some big company? No contract so they don’t report your late payments. It’s affordable way of having a cell phone so don’t hate lol

How did pagers even work???

I’ve seen them in American shows and films, but I’m not sure what they did.

Caller ID vibrator (if you shoved that down your front pants pocket, cuz you didn't have a belt to hook it to)

Pagers were created in the 50s and 60s for doctors. Someone calls the pager, the doctor sees it's a call from the hospital, comes in.
