i really hated that cyborg was all machine. i wish he had like a part of a human arm or thigh like he does in most of the comics. or at least a thicker waist. his shoulder/waist proportions looked off to me.

Yeah I thought he looked a little goofy both just in proportions and the overall CGI. Would have been better served by using more practical rather than digital effects.

I think it was pretty obvious that they were never actually "investigating" and would come back with statement that essentially said, in corporate jargon "sorry you feel that way but lol come on".

I suspect Charisma approached Ray about telling her story when it became clear that the studio would be backing Whedon and that's why Whedon jumped ship from The Nevers in post-production.
