I’d add a lot of Gen X and millennials to that. I literally had to explain what <3 meant to someone in a meeting, and help people my age and younger find “the gif button” which is clearly the bubble that says GIF. I’m blaming Facebook for people’s technical illiteracy at this point.

I have submitted soooo many resumes to their stupid website over the years and never any bites (guess I suck!). Really though, it does happen I’m sure, but I’ve pretty much given up on corporate resume farm websites. (Disney is even worse.) It feels like 90% of the jobs are clearly already taken - they just put them up for legal reasons. Unless you have an “in” person you’re out of luck.
