The CW has had such a wonky history when it comes to scheduling their shows. I understand that a lot of this particular situation is because of Covid, but there have been so many times in the past where I've looked at a CW scheduling decision (like not airing Gossip Girl, when people actually cared about it, during February sweeps) and just been baffled.

That seems like a weird thing to do for a brand new show??

i get why they're doing this tbh, it saves the fans from having to wait so long between the seasons and obviously so production has time to complete things on schedule without a rush.

like riverdale was originally supposed to air their season in two blocks of 10/9 episodes, with a few weeks break between the two and not only does that put a lot of pressure on production in an unpredictable world, but also means fans would have to wait until long ass time as i'm sure the next season won't be until january again. i'd rather two three monnth hiatuses for my fav shows than another six plus one

What a nice way to kill the buzz it received. I bet it will come back loosing a lot of its audience but on the other hand the CW renewed 0.08 demo shows, sooooo

Supergirl had potential but I think people were tired of all the romance drama. Melissa tried her best but the show itself was boring. They were smart to move it to the CW considering CBS would have canceled it after two seasons.

Superman has been renewed so it probably will go on for a few seasons.

I hope this means The Flash is canceled soon since the show has become super boring.
