I really don't get the point of making it into an animated movie if it's already an animated show. I tried getting into the series since people love it, but I think I've only watched the first 2-3 episodes so far, I keep finding other things to watch instead.

The first few episodes aren't its stride.

I just never sat down and actually watched it. I know my sister watched it and I'd see bits and pieces of it, but I didn't really pay attention to it or was interested enough to pay attention. A lot of my friends love it too.

the start of the show is rough but once you keep watching and meet more of the crew like azula and toph, it gets way better

from what I can tell it seems like it's gotten a bit of a revival recently because I feel like I suddenly see it everywhere, even more so than when it was first airing.

Korra was really bad for me :/ I didn’t like what they did to the avatar lore and there are some rly good fan critiques of the politics in Korra out there
