wish I saw that the pilot was up before tonight so I could've watched this week's episode - I forgot

This weeks was better than the pilot. In fact, they should have gone with this one for the pilot. Could still do without the teenage daughter subplot. But Queen Latifah remains fabulous!

Maybe it is the wine, but her making it to her daughter's performance and that her family didn't see her for quite sometime made me smile.
