I'm so hyped for Minari. Can't wait.

Lately, I've been rewatching my favorite movies from when I was younger because I have Pandemic Brain and I need something comforting. I'm running out of stuff though, to the point where I was trying to find my DVDs of the Star Wars prequels last night. Do they hold up? I'm gonna guess no.

Yeah I think this is going to be me this weekend. It's supposed to snow and I just want to hole up and make homemade pizza and watch old comfort movies. My fave of all time is The Princess Bride if you haven't watched that one recently!

oooh so many new movies this weekend, finally, feels like we've been in a drought

Definitely gonna watch Judas and the Black Messiah on Friday. I'm also interested in Saint Maud (though I'm a lil scared, ngl), Dead Pigs, Breaking News in Yuba County, and Barb and Star... there's a lot going on this weekend!!

I'd really love to see Minari, too, but I absolutely hate the way A24 is handling screenings. My husband's work schedule has been really unpredictable lately, so I don't want to commit to a date in advance because you only have a small window to watch it on that date. Like... just let us rent it like normal? Why create artificial hurdles? I know it's probably an "exclusivity" thing, but it's dumb as fuck.

Haven't watched many (any?) movies this week, tbh - just continuing my GBBO, CSI, and The West Wing watches. We watched a couple episodes of TWW last night, and guess who showed up in a guest starring role as the poet laureate??
