I was relatively young when JT was coming up in his solo career, but between his Cry Me A River video and the way he acted on Punk'd should've been a clear signal to everyone that he was a fucking loser.
My hot take is that NSync were of their time and that none of them deserved long-term fame. The Backstreet Boys had better vocals (and more classic songs).
I remember Nick Carter & Justin were both doing the solo thing at the same time and Nick was hyped to be the big thing. His album pretty much flopped. I still listen to the odd song from it now and again.
I was a hugeeee BSB fan and casually liked *NSYNC I don’t even think I remember Nick having a solo career but even tween me knew those two were less deserving of a solo career. I never understood how JC didn’t get pushed into having a great solo. His vocals were miles ahead of Justin

I hope Justin realizes what goes around comes around.

Fuck Justin Timberlake and the system that let someone doing a half-baked Michael Jackson/Prince impersonation with extra misogyny flourish

I still maintain to this day that JC should’ve been the one to make it after NSYNC.
