my general point about this (and a lot of gay people's I would imagine) is that gay actors don't get opportunities to play straight at all - he was a fluke and IIRC came out after that 'How' started so he's in a unique position - so it's not really a fair equivalence. Not to mention, how can Gay actors expand their craft and be good if they never get practice?

Then again, this is a white cis gender male former child star so his being out of touch is not that shocking

Thanks! What a douche. She seemed to handle to really well. Stuck to her ground but also just kept moving. Her commentary on celebs tweeting should be required reading for all influencers and celebs.
