i'm really surprised adam devigne hasn't released a solo album yet.

At this point, a Maroon 5 is basically an Adam solo album (musically, it just sounds like tracks made with drum machines n software n shit. That whole band element is gone).

yeah, listening to their latest stuff and then looking at the band it's like, how tf are there 7 people in it??? what do the poor fuckers even do? i guess their live sound is different and they actually play the instruments, but that memories or whatever song is a far cry from songs about jane.

They turn those studio recordings into live songs when they go out on tour, but yeah, the album tracks don't seem like something a band would put together. Like they hooked up with a producer and Adam sang over the beats.

That'd be fine for an Adam solo project, but use your assets if you have them at your disposal!

Also, "Hands All Over" is an underrated album.

i just remembered i actually went to their concert in 2016 lmaooo but i think it was before they turned to completely synthesized pop-songs (or not? i don't remember anything tbh) although admittedly i only went to hear the older songs.

yes, hands all over was also good. misery is a fun song.
