lol this had me laughing earlier cause when he was getting rave reviews for First Reformed, he was kinda starting to takes some small shots at the whole superhero business. Then his awards campaign fizzled out (tbf it was early in the year so I guess his film people didn't keep up the momentum compared to later films)

so now him signing up for this is funny. Get that paycheck though.

I remember him saying that he was aware about sometimes having to play the game years ago.
