oh god. like... yes an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure but like.... not all health concerns are tied to diet. and improving diet isn't that easy.

Plus, the US allows (even promotes) all kinds of harmful shit to be put in the food that is sold. A lot of stuff that is sold in American food stores, like food colouring for cakes for example, is banned in the EU

He approaches the point and then just veers off the road and into out of touch rich person land so quickly

Prevention is fantastic, and if he wants to donate some of that gigantic fucking fortune setting up programs in which he ensures nutritious food is available to those who can’t afford, uhhh idk Whole Foods, for example, wonderful! He’s still wrong about needing healthcare but at least he’d be doing something. But instead he’s gonna sit on his fortune and “stop being poor” everyone, then shame them for not doing enough while they’re just trying to SURVIVE

God this shit steams my buns

yeh, like prevention IS often the best cure. And y’know how you prevent serious illness, disease, and generally not feeling good in your body??? FREE OR AFFORDABLE HEALTHCARE so that people are able to access cheap and easy to implement solutions and preventative treatments BEFORE the problem becomes serious, and therefore, more expensive to deal with.

I do occasionally pop into Whole Foods, mostly because of these cookies they have and their pizza by the slice

Whole Foods is doing it’s part to keep me healthy and not needing health insurance ♥️

Ugh I like their buffalo cauliflower wings and the tempeh avocado BLT which is basically my favorite sandwich of all time. They really keep me healthy ❤️

Buffalo cauliflower wings are a fucking revelation. Usually you couldn't even pay me to eat cauliflower but I'll eat a whole plate of those wings.

I would say 'eat the rich' but I don't want people to eat in such an unhealthy manner.

I thought Whole Foods was supposed to at least have the illusion of health~ and organic~ so it always makes me giggle how they stock straight up Ben and Jerry’s ice cream

I agree with you on Trader Joe’s, when I was at school that was always the go to place. The prices are affordable and it basically has the same shit for way better prices. I could buy nutritional yeast there for maybe like what 4 dollars but at whole foods it’d be 8 lol
