One of my coworkers only likes classic christmas music, so I asked him if AIWFCIY is considered classic and he said no. The audacity.

Also I love her version of Baby Please Come Home

Is he old old?

He's like 27 so the song is pretty much his age

AIWFCIY was a classic the moment it was released (as was Last Christmas). It’s extremely rare, but it happens

I don’t like Christmas music but I LOVE “All I Want for Christmas Is You” - it’s such a genuinely great and smart pop song

She also wrote Where Are You Christmas that Faith Hill recorded.

ah yes, that was supposed to be Mariah's but Tommy was messing with her around then?

You can clearly hear the Mariah influence in the singing style Faith uses. I wonder if Mariah will release her version in the future ala 'Firecracker'

She doesn’t get enough credit as a musician. She is a great songwriter. Does she have any album of the year grammy? I think the grammys over look her a lot too.

she has a contemporary r&b album for emancipation but no album of the year. she actually doesn't have any "of the year" grammys be it record, album, or song which is a travesty.

She's an extremely great songwriter. Idk why she gets snubbed while they parade around that other entertainer that "writes" music like they are still in HS.

Grammys stay racist huh? Mariah deserves so much more credit than she is given
