In a recent Nintendo Direct, Shigeru Miyamoto (creator of Mario and the Legend of Zelda) took viewers on a tour of Super Nintendo World, a new park opening February 4, 2021 at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka

The power up bands look interesting. I want that star popcorn holder, I got the king slime one when dragon quest had a special pavilion in Osaka

I swear I mostly only want to go to Disney Tokyo for the popcorn holders, lol. And omg, I just googled, and I'm jealous of your King Slime!

OT, but I saw a set of Dragon Quest tarot cards on eBay that lightweight tempted me, but the text is in kanji

It really looks cool and I say this as someone who doesn’t really like the Mario franchise.

I look forward to when they add more to it. Apparently there were leaked Donkey Kong plans? Like when they open it in Florida, it would be with the Donkey Kong part too maybe.

And rumors of things like Zelda.

Just saw the map leak for Orlando and apparently they'll have a roller coaster based of that one level in Donkey Kong Country

they’ll def add zelda stuff, it’s as much of a nintendo staple as mario. i’d cry at a zelda theme park like this lol

I've barely ever played these games, and this still looks so fucking COOL. This should honestly make Disneyland feel embarrassed for how lifeless and scaled back their Star Wars land was.
