Not watching this. My daughter was born in May and my mom still hasn't met her. I told my mom as soon as she finishes the vaccine regimen we'll fly her out here (she's 84 so hopefully she gets it sooner rather than later). It makes me sad that she's already missed interacting with her through so many of the newborn phases.

I'm so sorry to hear that. My mom hasn't seen my daughter in months, and it's so hard. She's the first grandchild on both sides, too, so it's like a living nightmare for them

My parents live half a mile away from my brothers family and still have only seen their granddaughters only about 5 times this whole year. To go from seeing the older one every day (they took care of her) and barely knowing the baby has been heartbreaking. I hope your mom gets to meet her grand baby soon!
