I feel like in the UK, Tom Ellis is also known for his ex-wife in the tabloids reminding everyone every five days that he cheated on her. Or at least judging by how many Google results are articles about her.

It was while he did a guest spot on Once Upon a Time. He cheated with Emilie de Ravin. I think he went home and confessed because the show recast him and they got divorced soon after.

Jodie def has had a good career post-MMFD.

I mostly remember James Corden from when they made The History Boys movie and I would see ads on youtube.

Yeah, the first thing I saw Corden in was The History Boys film adaptation. I actually really enjoyed his acting in that and in Begin Again but once he got the TV show in the US, it was too much exposure for me. He’s great in small doses.

I also know James Corden (and Dominic Cooper) from The History Boys. Of that cast I'm still confused as to why Corden was the one that blew up.

I feel like James is the most media and hustler of them all.

I loooove Lucifer and Tom in it. I'm Canadian and admittedly had not heard of/seem him before. But I think I'll give Miranda a shot if he's in it

Olivia Colman's sudden meteoric rise to prestige thespian A-Lister is kind of incredible. Like, she's been around forever but it feels like she's skipped 100 stages in the process (deservedly). She'll probably be a Dame soon and she's one of the frontrunners for another Oscar already this year. she's essentially set herself up to be the future Dench/Smith in the coming decades.

I knew she’d been part of the British comedy circuit for decades thanks to graham norton interviews but it was funny to be watching Green Wing last year after it was added to Prime Video and seeing her doing her thing as a side character lol. I was like “spotted, OG Olivia Colman in the wild!!”

Rewatching Peep Show is so funny because you certainly don't expect her to be the one who gets a hot shot, immediate international fame after winning an Oscar.

There was a step from side actor/comedian to awards baits roles: the abused wife in mini-budget Tyrannosaur - where she outshone Peter Mullan.
