Someone here recommended the podcast "You're wrong about" diana, that shit was wild. She was just not ok and never got true help.

She wasn't and the royal family and her experiences in it certainly didn't help. I'm not surprised her sons' causes focus on mental health.

MTE. I listened to it too (and have become and avid listener of the podcast) and I had no idea how troubled she was.
Plus, the whole Royal family is just... insane. Protocol over humanity, smh.

I love Your Wrong About! Prior to those episodes, I did not know anything about the royal family and their eccentricities. Hearing about Diana's issues was eye opening and I was shocked when she [Spoiler (click to open)]pushed Raine Legge down the stairs.

and people wonder harry and wanted to leave england and the royal ... who want their family related to all this mess. i honestly think charles is supportive of harry leaving, something he didnt have the courage to do.

i mean ofc they are rich colonial bloodsuckers, but honestly, like michael from you're wrong about, said raising your kids to perpetually live like they're stuck in the 1950s and not allowed to do or think of anything or even marry the person they love, just because of the family they're born into is barbaric and abusive in so many ways. like i hate charles' guts but how tf is it okay to be so controlling over someone and so many lives just because of made-up, divine right bullshit. like even their living conditions were ridiculous, living in a museum palace and having such poor upkeep (no heating at balmoral) for absolutely no reason...like what's the point? much rather be a jerky dancing social media influencer than a princess any day.

i feel like if diana hadn't been so beloved, and struggled so publicly and died in a horrific way, indirectly/directly because of this world, the royal family would have been stuck in their ways and not let william and harry marry for love.

Harry was allowed because he was never the heir and by now he’s very down the line of succession.

Compared to William he always had luxury. But yeah even they’ve fumbled their separation can’t blame him for wanting to leave.

Damn! Princess Di ain’t playin in the afterlife. What goes around comes around! Ain’t nothing but cold blood in the Royal family. Princess Di may be never perfect but CMON lbr rn. Fuck that dude Charles, fuck him. Let’s be clear about this: Princess Di rightfully deserve to Rest In Peace even after those crazy ass long years revolving around her and her life. Also like, hers could’ve been preventable back then and fuck the paparazzi lbr. She could’ve been spared from this mess chaos. Not to mention the Queen didn’t HAVE to be that damn straight up stone cold. That was a straight deep cut, you know what I mean? I totally got where she came from but damn though, nah. The Royals are the ones that are and remain fucked up to this day, inexcusable and no questions.
