Marvel has yet to officially announce the casting, but production began on the Disney+ series "Hawkeye" and Hailee Steinfeld was spotted on set with Jeremy Renner, confirming that has in fact been cast as Kate Bishop.

It is very odd, and I have no clue as to why they are keeping it a secret. Some people thing they are keeping it for the investor's day on December 10th, but we know the leads for all the other Disney+ shows, so why her alone?

Not really because it only ever leaked about Tatiana Maslany for She-Hulk (she even went as far as to deny it). So that's another lead we don't "officially" know about that they can announce on Investor's day.
