Dec 01, 2020 19:03

As we come to the end of 2020, OP is inspired to create a list of her top 10 favorite albums of the decade. OP has no authority for any of this and throws herself upon your mercy.

*but there are also three from 2020 because OP can't read her own post

In no particular order:

neither are future nostalgia or good to know... couple that with the fact that Robyn isn't included... this list is a mess.

Tame Impala Currents and Bon Iver, Bon Iver. Also Valtari from Sigur Ros. I feel like I have not been feeling a lot of music coming from the latter half of the decade honestly.

Two very good albums indeed. I've never listened to Sigur Ros but they're on my list, where should I start?

I love Florence + The Machine. If nothing else the discography is unique, interesting, and unlike anything else. Personal faves include: Howl, Bedroom Hymns, Leave My Body, What the Water Gave Me, Long&Lost...I could go on and on and on.

My exact feelings. My one last hope is to someday see her live when the world returns to normal.

I saw her many years ago, she was great! Her between-song chatter was so spacey, exactly what you'd expect from her lol. Like "Oh is that a bridge over there? I've never performed in sight of a bridge, that's lovely"

She has some great songs!! I also love "Breath of Life," that's one of my all-time faves.

Great list! It's such a bummer The Civil Wars broke up. :/

I know!! John Paul does some great solo work and I really loved Joy's newest album, but it just isn't the same.

They could have at least released one or two more albums together :(
