i don't quite understand their criteria for what constitutes a franchise (ie the mandalorian is part of the star wars franchise) but okay

yeah same. like, coco is a single film with zero sequels or additional material, how is it a franchise? same with black widow. i mentioned the lion king downthread and i guess there are sequels for the cartoon so you could technically call it a franchise but that also seems like a stretch idk

they definitely should've done marvel/star wars/pixar/etc for some of these. i'm also confuse about why the mario bros are on here, surely if video games count, the sims or one of those FPS should be somewhere on here too.

I have seen 13? things from this list, and only movie #1 of each franchise not including Avengers, Toy Story 4, Hamilton or any Spider-Man after McGuire's 1 and 2.
