That’s really generous of her.

I’ve told this story on here before but I always retell it when Missy Elliot gets brought up:
Years ago I worked in an airport and interacted with her, well not her per se bc at the time she was one of those celebs that refused to speak directly to anyone and had her assistant speak on her behalf. It’s was bizarre and I would not believe it if it didn’t happen to me.

How do celebs not feel weird doing that people?? I would feel like such a jackass if I did that. Julia Roberts was like that to me and I almost laughed in her face. Like sis, you look ridiculous.

Shaq was the complete opposite. That man talked to EVERYONE on staff about the most random things. That man did not shut up lmao

I don’t get it!! I would feel so ridiculous. I have social anxiety so I don’t like interacting with others unless it’s a controlled environment and I couldn’t picture myself acting the way she did, it went beyond having possible anxiety issues and came across as being so fucking rude.

Same here! Even with my social anxiety, I'm still very conscious of coming off rude so sometimes I push myself to make eye contact and smile at cashiers.

I don't get how these celebs knowingly act in a way that makes people feel less than and still continue to treat people like that.
