I had zero clue that this show was remotely linked to real people and events. Maybe I’ll watch now. 😂

There were many days I wished Liz and Margaret and Andrew and Fergie and Maggie were figments of someone's imagination but here we are

We’ve only watched the first two episodes. I was worried they’d go easy on Charles but based on the way Twitter has been tearing into him today I guess not! I enjoyed everyone ripping into him.

they do not go easy on him at all. if anything, I'm thinking this is reminding people how much he actually does suck

Not at all. Especially toward the last few episodes he comes off as entitled, spoiled and horrible.

I enjoyed Emma and Josh's chemistry in the sweet moment between Charles and Diana, and now I'm wishing we could get a project with them where Josh's character isn't so deplorable

I like that they showed Charles and Diana having a genuine pull and attraction towards each other amid Charles' messiness because they're human beings, dammit.

Ditto on the actors.

God's Own Country?

I mean his character wasn't perfect and nice but it's a far cry from Charles.

And probably as Marius in BBC Les Misérables but I haven't seen all of that.

The same is said for skipping over the kidnapping attempt on Princess Anne in 1974 on the show's third season.

UNFORGIVABLE.

I'm halfway through but this is the best season since season one. Charles is apparently upset but it happened, dude! Suck it up.

Emma Corrin and Josh O'connor are the MVPs of the season. I hope next season goes in on messy Diana because I want to see her pushing her stepmom down the stairs.

It was told on the podcast "You're Wrong About." Diana was a victim but she was also crazy fucked up- being with multiple married men, hitting Charles during arguments- and the kicker, pushing her stepmom down the stairs during an argument and admitting she didn't feel remorse over it (stepmom was fine).
