i don't know either but i honestly don't care. you're in someone else's country filming your movie. they were kind enough to share their space with you to do so; follow their damn rules, especially when people's lives are at stake. if a wrap party is more important to them than the local's lives, i can pass on the movie. and i say that as someone who loved the first matrix so much i wrote a paper on it for my college lit class.

Everything about this year feels like a "let them eat cake" moment.

We've got celebrities traveling, throwing parties and being UNABLE to not post and brag about it on their social channels. We've got politicians and other business leaders calling for people to die for the economy (so that the rich can just continue to get richer). This morning I watched prison workers/slave labour loading dead bodies into makeshift morgues in El Paso, TX.

Things cannot - and should not - be the same after this.

I knowI should stop doomscrolling but if I do, I don't see the reality of what is actually happening right now. And that is making me very, very angry.
