Netflix has renewed Space Force for a second season, with production moving from LA to Vancouver next year.

why would netflix renew a show that was broadly panned and no one liked and simultaneously cheat glow of their final season and cancel patriot act for no apparent reason?

netflix is so flaky and inconsistent.

Yeah it definitely should not have been renewed over the top of Glow/other shows

Because it got the viewers needed to justify the cost for another season.

Because people watched it. Netflix is just like network TV they care about views or you have to be a real critical and awards darling. I read somewhere that by Netflix counts or whatever something like 40 households streamed that shit within the first few months of its release. By contrast, Glow was almost canceled after its first season for low ratings (streams).

I like The Office and didn't crack a smile once at this so I'd say it's much worse lol
