- Thought it might be bad luck to write an acceptance speech for the Emmys, but her friends and family convinced her to write something down, and she was glad that she did when she ended up winning.
- Says that even though her peers may feel like they are growing up in a system that isn't meant for them, Black people need to find and embrace joy wherever they can, and not let it be taken away.
- She gets advice on how to use her platform strategically, and says that activism from people her own age and people younger than her give her hope.
- Hosted dance parties in her room on breaks while shooting Dune.
- Her upcoming two-hander film Malcolm and Marie was shot during the pandemic. She starts opposite John David Washington, and the film was directed by Sam Levinson and used crew members from Euphoria, who were not working because of the pandemic. They all quarantined together and shot in one space - let them dig into the material, but she did her own hair and makeup and used her own wardrobe.
- Shoots Spider-Man 3 before coming back to shoot the next season of Euphoria, so it's gonna be a while, but the bridge episodes of Euphoria are something to look forward to in the meantime.
- She's excited to get back to traveling when it is safe - she loves going to museums and doing educational tours during travels.
