if i wanna see a movie abt appalachia that's not exploitative OR poverty porn OR right-wing adjacent, i just re-watch winter's bone. super disappointed on amy adams for picking this adaptation despite how problematic the book was, i literally wish everyone attached to this... an ounce of luck.

I could've told you the moment this shit was announced that it'd be awful. Ron Howard isn't a good director, we need to stop pretending he is.

People either saying Amy is great or trash lmfao... ugh what a legend. Her choices of late are seriously bad.
