I can relate so much to the being affectionate with your friends part. If I'm affectionate in public with a female friend in front of non latinos, they always think we're feeling each other up. A lot of the times we just like lay our heads on each others shoulders. I even had someone ask me once why I kissed and hugged my friends on the cheek when saying hello.
