Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner are weird af for this. If they have the time to go on a walk with their baby what exactly is the purpose of the nanny being there & pushing the stroller for them? They’re too rich to do such a job or... 💀 pic.twitter.com/q2079yhb2t

I feel like I see too many people with kids who seem to have no interest in actively parenting and it makes me really uncomfortable. IDK the idea of having a kid and then either barely parenting or if you have the money, paying someone else just makes no sense to me.

yeah, my mom was just telling me about her best friend's daughter in law who is a teacher and therefore has summers off, but keeps her kids in all-day daycare all week so she can go to the pool and go shopping. I think it's a great idea to have a day to yourself if you can afford it, just bc you're off work does not mean you can't use daycare, but every day?? why? it seems like such a huge blessing to have all that time with your kids in the summer... i don't understand. she definitely seems like she had kids bc you're "supposed to"

Does she also teach kids? Because if so that adds a whole other layer to this.

I find it weird to judge new parents or (any parents) childcare choices. We don't know if they're struggling emotionally.

I cannot believe that increased conversations about inequality and child-rearing have led people to the conclusion "Never judge any parent for any decision that they make about childcare." Like, fuck me. People really do not have the range.
