No, I haven't watched it yet. But I am falling down a West Wing hole; looking for all the Josh/Donna content I can find like it's 2002.

Yup, I am in the same West Wing hole. I just want CJ to be happy is that too much to ask?!

(Also Bradley Whitford is a BABY in the show!)

i really liked it. that whole trial was a complete shit show and the judge should have been disbarred.

mark rylance in particular was best in show and is in top position among the cast to get award recognition out of it.

Yeah, Rylance was exceptional.

I’ll be really surprised if Rylance doesn’t get a supporting nom, he’s got a couple of good clips and the academy obvs likes him.

I could see one of the others getting in supporting too if awards shows like this movie although I’m not sure who it would be... I feel like eddie redmayne and SBC had an equal-ish amount of screentime and “look at me I’m ACTING” clips. or I could see yahya abdul-mateen, he had a smaller role than those two but probs the single most impactful scene which also happens to feel so incredibly timely to the political moment rn

Aaron Sorkin's brain:
- 15% cocaine
- 20% talent
- 65% straight white male entitlement and failing upwards.

I was going to watch it, but then I saw a tweet of him re-using jokes/dialogue from past shows and ???? A movie has so much in it that gets cut anyway, you're going to use old material why? I liked Josh from the West Wing, but his writing seems insufferable at times, and the clips I saw were insufferable.
