Same. I saw the spoilers for the finale and decided it wasn’t worth my time. And, typically, I finish everything that I watch.

did any of these revivals turn out well?

The Conners is doing okay, even with the whole fiasco of Roseanne revival being cancelled and them having to spin it off.
24, Murphy Brown and Heroes revivals lasted one more season. The X-Files lasted two more season. Will & Grace got 3 more season and ended a few months ago.

No one wanted Murphy Brown and the ratings and reviews showed that.

Seriously. I was a strange kid and was obsessed with the original run. But the revival was the last thing I ever wanted. I never even tried, no thanks.

Part of it is that Candice Bergen went on to more greatness, especially with Boston Legal. We didn't need to roll back to Murphy.

Are they just trying to get us to stop talking about how horrible the finale was?!? Because I'm ngl, with the original showrunner involved, I am a little interested.

Just looked at wiki to see why the OG showrunner left in the first place and

Executive producer and showrunner Phillips departed the series, after a record-setting season-four finale, to spend more time with his family

it all makes sense re: the quality of the show.

That true blood series ending was horrible. If anything needs a redo it's definitely that.
