She was of Greek descent only Egyptian by birth. I think most people get her confused with Nerfertiti.

She was the last of the line of the Ptolemaic dynasty (Ptolemy was Macedonian) and he married an Egyptian as part of Alexander the Great's strategy to establish his influence over his empire. IDK if that counts her as white or not.

Iirc the Ptolemies were Macedonian, her family was put in charge of Egypt by Alexander the Great. Last I heard there was some debate as far as her mother's ethnicity goes, so she may have been mixed native Egyptian at most. But for sure Greek.

Ugh no. I mean besides being an awful person she is legitimately not a good actress. Pls stop giving her acting jobs she can stick to modeling

they're both dead. gal's character died by falling out of an airplane on the longest runway in the world. thor's wife just had the rock's baby and died, couldn't tell you how.

I don't like this. Cleopatra is one of my historical idols and Gal does not have the wit, charm, charisma, intelligence that I associate with Cleopatra. And honestly, kinda sick of ridiculously beautiful women portraying her. I love the fact that Cleopatra became known as the most beautiful woman in the world not because she was conventionally attractive, but because she was so charming and witty and could win over anyone.

I LOVE this suggestion, she's amazing! I think my dream pick would be young Angelica Houston, she's got the look and the gravitas and the acting chops.
