Reed Morano has signed on to produce and direct Memory Police for Amazon Studios. It will be an adaptation of the Yōko Ogawa novel, with Charlie Kaufman writing the script.

The summary: On an unnamed island off an unnamed coast, things have begun to disappear - at first little things: ribbons and then roses.

I worked on Reed's first film. The movie itself was fine (they changed the ending towards the end of production) but my production manager was the worst person I've ever met and she's a piece of shit. And nobody (including the producers and ADs I drove around) liked working with her.
