Commemorating this year’s Hispanic heritage month, Christina Aguilera cast her mind back to her Latin origins, by sharing on her social media some pictures of her grand parents and father, who are Ecuadorian.

She also took the opportunity to share a curated playlist on Spotify of her favorite Latin songs, both classics and modern

Ok, I LOVE that she has multiple Chavela Vargas tracks on her playlist. Any time I hear that woman’s voice, it’s instant tears. Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday, and Chavela sing right from the heart like nobody else!
