i'm actually very pleasantly surprised bc of how low-effort their vma performance was in comparison to all these, i wonder why?

I think it was because the VMA performance ended up being put together last minute? They had wanted to film outside, but then weather caused them to move inside. So it looked hastily put together because it was. lol.
