In March 2014, Lindsay said she'd write a book and have it completed by May 2015, but it never happened.
They extended the contract to 2017, and even gave her a $365,000 advance, but it still didn't happen.
As of September 2018, the deal was off and Harper Collins wanted their money back. They never got it, hence the suing. Maybe Lindsay's new business venture can help pay her debts?
