I feel like people keep imagining we'll have this concrete, bang-the-gavel moment of "Aha! [x] was the true villain all along!" instead of the messier, more human answer which is that two toxic people got into a relationship, both did and said things that were awful and harmful, and we're never going to have a 100% good person, 100% bad person revelation.

But these endless court battles seem pointless. Surely they're both going to go broke at this point.

Yeah, in the end I lean much more heavily toward Depp being the instigator for much of what happened. I also side-eye every single one of his exes who gleefully stood up and said, "It never happened to me, therefore it's impossible."

According to court papers obtained by People, Amber earned a total of $259,876 (£179,683) in 2015. The earnings came from acting projects such as The Danish Girl, for which she was paid $31,112 (£21,523) and Paranoia, for which she was paid $45,314 (£31,355).

Amber also earned $120,000 (£83,000) for her work with jewellery brand Tiffany, and a further $50,000 (£34,592) from Bulgari. In addition, the 30-year-old received residual fees from her films Machete Kills ($2,390) and The Rum Diaries ($2,472).
