I love Saoirse, I love palaeontology, and I LOVED God's Own Country. I just wish it was anyone but Kate Winslet.

Will absolutely be watching though.

i think his acting and mannerisms and watnot were def how i pictured oliver, but it was just his FACE LOL it was too old looking for me, he looks legitimately in his 30s. also, yes x1000 on michael stuhlbarg. his monologue in that movie will stick with me forever.

wow, this looks SO much like Portrait of a Lady on Fire, just more depressing and less colorful.

I guess the best way to find a girlfriend in the olden times was to find a companion for wind swept, moody walks along the beach! sounds great tbh

Of course it’s more depressing and less colourful, it’s the Victorian period - the bright colours and frivolity of the Georgian era are a thing of the past!

georgian aesthetics > victorian aesthetics all the way (the peak of men's fashion, tbh!)

I read something similar a while ago and was impressed with how the author managed to make the subject sound interesting and colourful.

Anyway, yes for Francis Lee, muh for Kate.
