Ugh, I wish nteflix gaf about the film before whitney died.

I really think she would have gained so many more fans from gen z. Another opportunity to give a Black woman her flowers before she passes. :'(

Whitney's death still saddens me. She truly deserved better in a lot of aspects of life. Bless her memory.

I looked into making that last Halloween but was like my once a year trip to Joann’s skillset is NOT having it.

That whole Ever After/Romeo and Juliet movie era was when I was in high school. It brings back magical memories, tbh, as it was around the time I started dating and believing in finding someone I could spend my life with. As an adult, I'm jaded obviously. They don't make movies like that anymore though. I wish I could go back to that simpler time.

Romeo x Juliet is the first live action movie I can remember watching...my parents thought it would be educational even for a 4 year old, they didn't seem to care that the first 15 minutes are a shootout at a gas station

Yassss the lines "I shall try" "Then I shall wait all day" from Ever After and the song Kissing Your from R&J had PROFOUND impacts on me as a tween. For some reason that line from Ever After still pops into my head even though I watched the movie like once when I was 13.
